1. Introduction

Welcome to Self Drive. By booking a vehicle through our service, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our services.

2. Eligibility

  • Renters must be at least 21 years old.

  • Renters must hold a valid driving license issued in India or, for foreign nationals, a valid passport and international driving permit if applicable.

3. Booking and Payment

  • All bookings must be made via our website or authorized channels.

  • Payment must be made in full at the time of booking.

  • Prices are subject to change, but confirmed bookings will honor the agreed rate.

4. Security Deposit

  • A refundable security deposit is required at the time of pickup.

  • The deposit will be refunded after inspection of the vehicle, minus any applicable charges for damage, traffic fines, or extra mileage.

5. Vehicle Use

  • Vehicles must only be driven by the registered renter.

  • Smoking, drinking, or carrying prohibited items in the vehicle is strictly forbidden.

  • Vehicles must be used responsibly and returned in the same condition as received.

6. Fuel and Mileage

  • Fuel is not included in the rental price; vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level as provided.

  • Additional mileage charges may apply if the renter exceeds the agreed-upon distance limit.

7. Insurance and Liability

  • Our vehicles come with basic insurance coverage.

  • Renters are responsible for any damage caused by negligence or violation of traffic laws.

  • In case of accidents, renters must inform us immediately and cooperate with authorities and insurance processes.

8. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled pickup for a full refund.

  • Late cancellations or no-shows may result in partial or no refund.

9. Termination

  • Self Drive reserves the right to terminate a rental if the renter violates these Terms and Conditions.

  • Vehicles must be returned immediately upon termination.

10. Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India.

  • Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of local courts in the area of vehicle pickup.
